Working as a Technician at GXO Logistics

Within this challenging position you work together in your own technical department on all daily activities in the technical and mechanical field. You support the facility department in this.
What you do on a typical day
Performing periodic, preventive and/or curative maintenance and adjustments to installations, internal transport equipment, building and sites to keep downtime in the operation minimal. For the malfunctions that you locate and signal, you make improvements, and you also carry them out. Proactively ensure timely repairs and maintenance, so that malfunctions can be prevented, and the operation can continue. For the malfunctions that you locate and signal, you make improvements, and you also carry them out Maintain documentation of performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other documentation. Ensure a safe working environment and all maintenance is done in a safe way. In this job you will usually work between 06.00-15.00h. This may include on-call shift.Three to four months per year the TD works in shifts/extended shifts.
What you need to succeed at GXO
You have a technical vocational training at MBO level 4 (in any of the following fields: mechatronics, mechanical or electronics or electrical) Experience with PLC controls, electronics mechanics, and pneumatics.
