The Facility Technician responsible for operating, testing, maintaining equipment in production floor. Ensure that products and equipment meet quality standards and support the production maintenance together with production process by operating machinery and performing routine maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:

Ensuring good housekeeping practice at workshop and safety compliance.Reporting any equipment breakdown or issues to Supervisor.To execute “Preventive Maintenance” and “Corrective Maintenance” based on Work Order given or as plan by Supervisor /Maintenance Planner or Scheduler.To Ensure all Breakdown /issue are being highlighted / communicated from other team member and Supervisor.To carry out Daily routine inspection as assigned and record it on checklist / log sheet.To Maintain High Standard of GMP compliance in the plantTo Maintain Tools and equipment’s in Good Condition and well kept.To Execute and maintaining 5S activitiesTo take reasonable care of your own and team member safetyTo co-operate with your employer by making sure you get proper training and to follow the company’s health and safety policies, rules and procedures.Not to interfere with tamper or misuse anything that’s been provided for your health, safety or welfare.To wear or use at all times any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.To report any near miss, unsafe acts/conditions and injuries, or illnesses you suffer because of doing your job.Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

Must possess at least Professional Certificate -PW4 Three Phase Wireman/ A1 A0 Chargeman or equivalent.

Desirable requirements:

At least 2 years(s) of working experience as a technician in manufacturing field, preferably food industry and must possess basic knowledge in HVAC system, RO water system and building maintenance. Instrumentation basic knowledge and Gas detector system is an added advantage.Able to operate manual and semi auto equipment which requires physical strength.Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia or EnglishCan work overtime hours and routine shifts.Physically fit to perform heavy job occasionally.Discipline, dedicate, self-motivated, responsible, cooperate, and able to work in a team, and work as a team

Required behaviors and skills:

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.Good oral, written communication skills, basic math skills.Good health and fit for Maintenance Job.Excellent in trouble shooting and problem-solving skill.
