Job Title: ADAS Technician

Job Description

Looking for a passionate and highly motivated ADS (Automated Driving System) & ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is to support ADS & ADAS evaluation activities conducted. Secondary responsibility of this role is to support maintaining company's facility and vehicle fleet. Reporting to the Technician Manager, the person in this role will ensure vehicle performance ADS / ADAS related systems.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the maintenance, functionality, and safety of test vehicles and facilitiesRetrofit and maintain functionality of ADS / ADAS sensors, data acquisition systems, and other equipmentSupport execution of public road ADAS / ADS evaluationsSupport execution of closed course ADAS / ADS evaluationsEssential SkillsAssociates in Technical Field, and/or BS in Automotive, Electronics, Technology or equivalent technical experience1+ years of vehicle track/public road evaluation hands-on work experienceAbility to use data acquisition equipmentAbility to provide vehicle troubleshooting support via phone or video conferenceHighly organized in documenting/communicating data issues accurately, including technical writing and reporting abilityExperience in updating vehicle systems software and confirming functionalityExperience interpreting electrical systems drawings, specifications, manuals, wire diagrams, and standardsOBD (On Board Diagnostic) and CAN (Controller Area Network) tool use, experience, and understanding to troubleshoot system issuesSkilled in the use of hand and shop tools to build test fixtures, disassemble, and assemble vehiclesClean driving recordWillingness to travel 50%
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
