Your role and responsibilitiesConduct work activities in compliance with the ABB HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), ABB Way, and Safety Manual & Safety policy at all times.Maintain knowledge of, and conduct work activities in compliance with all safety policiesDevelop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards.Maintain knowledge of applicable productsBe responsible for hands-on execution of panel builds, breaker upgrades, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.Perform administrative functions such as writing test data sheets, ordering materials, securing quotations, time sheet, and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis.Exercise good judgment in controlling costs and expenditures of company funds. Protect the company's capital investments by properly safeguarding and maintaining thatequipment for which responsibleMake contributions to the continued development and refinement of the Rotterdam Service Center.Engineering Standards and Procedures as they apply to designated panel builds, upgrades, maintenance and conduct work efforts in accordance thereofStrive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in all transactions and relationships.
Qualifications for the roleAssociate’s degree in electrical engineering technologies (OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of technician experience)Minimum of 2 years technician experienceAbility and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
