Greasing the wheels of day-to-day operations

You will be involved in the overall upkeep of plant and facilities equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. To do this, you’ll need to regularly inspect all equipment rooms and other facilities, and take note of any problems using the predefined checklists. Also part of your responsibilities is to walk the duty technicians through weekend work plans, and give out technical recommendations, as needed.

Being the front line for maintenance needs

Our clients will come to you for equipment fixes, so you’ll be expected to be skilled in carrying out repairs. At the same time, you should always be ready to get hold of vendors to do maintenance work at a moment’s notice. On top of this, you’ll also have to speed up any required equipment moves, adds and changes implementation. In every decision or action you will make, you’ll need to keep in mind that you follow local governmental rules and regulations to avoid any legal troubles.

Other Accountabilities

Electrician is assigned Primary and Secondary duties in the supervision electrical works and assist building HT chargeman and Senior chargemanTo trouble shoot, repair, overhaul and maintain all M&E equipment’sEnsure all electrical fittings are in good working orderReplace fused, fluorescent tubes, chokes, starter, fuses, etc when the need arisesTo do periodic preventive maintenance on all M&E equipmentTo attend all breakdown promptly at all timesAttend to complaints or feedback by tenants relating to building electrical works and follow up with contractors to ensure rectification works are carried out and keep tenants informed of the progress of such works.Assist in the handing over taking over of tenanted premises including follow up on electrical worksInspection of additions, alteration and reinstatement works relating to fitting out services in the building.Take care of all firefighting services, PA System, Façade lighting, lifts, escalator, fire panels, intercom, gondola, turnstile and etcTo ensure all pumps – wet riser, & sprinkler pumps in working order.Perform weekly facilities inspection. To withdraw job request from OVSC (job request system) and execute with approval by client or the authorized person assigned by client.This include repair maintenance and servicing for all fire panel in the buildingOverall assist to FC and client representative which is not far from the job scope.24 hours on call standby which regarding critical equipment’s on following system: Gen Set, AMF Generator Distribution Panel, Sub – Main Generator Supply Cables, UPS, UPS Batteries, Battery Monitoring System, ESSB (600A) - ESSB (200A) - EDB (100A) - EDB (60A) - UDB (60A), Building Management System

Qualification & Experience Required

Must have at least a PW2 certificate authorized by Suruhanjaya TenagaCandidates with SKM 3 certificate in M&E Engineering can be consideredGood command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English.At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably Technicians specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.Comfortable to work on shift basis, weekends and public holidays (working hour: Mon-Fri, 5:30pm-2:30am & Sat: 10am-2pm)Job location: Putrajaya
