RESUMEN GENERAL (SUMMARY):

 

Incumbent will be responsible for supporting FOC, Stability Program & Laboratory duties. In order to perform effectively, the incumbent must be knowledgeable of all manufacturing process, product specifications, FOC SOP, GMP guidelines, protocol sampling/testing, notebook documentation & Production Resources Management System (PRMS).

 

 

TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES (DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES):

 

Ensure that all laboratory equipment, tools or any other measuring, monitoring or manufacturing material complies with corporate, GMP and other regulatory requirements.

 

Give direct support to engineering group on local protocol execution, testing and data collection and basic analysis on different manufacturing departments.Monitor manufacturing process as assigned, consulting and/or reporting any possible non-compliance or potential situations that would result in non-compliance if left unattended.

 

Operate different laboratory equipment (Optical Comparators, high gauges, calipers, torque meters, electronic balance, pull tester, etc.) as per reference specifications, manuals and safety rules required.

 

Originate, archive and maintain all required documentation, specifications, laboratory notebook and reports in compliance with corporate standards, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices and any other regulatory requirements.

 

Perform all raw material, in-process or product inspection and testing if required, in compliance with specifications so as to assure that these meet Baxter's quality standards.

 

Ensure that the laboratory and ancillary areas comply with all GMP, regulatory, corporate and internal requirements and specifications regarding housekeeping, safety, etc. Write laboratory notebook reports for studies and monthly status.

 

Ensure that all related documents to FOC and Stability records are correctly generated and comply with all applicable requirements.

 

Support to the FOC Specialist in the evaluation on documents accuracy as to avoid any manufacturing and changes implementation delays.Originate, archive and maintain all required documentation, specifications and reports compliance with corporate standards, Good Documentation Practices, current Quality Management System and any other regulatory requirements.Provide support on data gathering and analysis using Statistical Software as (Minitab} and Laboratory audits execution as Safety, etc.Assist on the sample evaluation of non-conformities, internal and/or external complaints when require.Willing to work on different working shifts either weekends to assist on protocol execution and testing process.Perform special projects, sample preparations, and sample shipments.

 

Observes all company and regulatory EHS requirements.

 

Observed confidentiality and data privacy rules at all time.

 

DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):

 

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

 

EDUCACION Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):

High School diploma with minimum of 3 year experience in related field or Associate degree in any technical field.  .

 

CUALIFICACIONES (QUALIFICATIONS):

Working knowledge in specifications understanding and interpretation is required. Through knowledge of automated and manual factoring process is must. Familiarity with QMS and other regulatory requirements is desirable. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic science and/or math skills. Use of personal computer and software such as: Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab, and other applicable programs. Able to understand and perform protocol direction with minimum guidance.

Knowledge in Data Entry- Microsoft Office Software. Basic computer knowledge is required Experience in measurements instrumentation. Good interpersonal skills. Willing to travel occasionally.

Bilingual (English and Spanish).
