Position Summary

Technician – AV and Network shall primarily be accountable for the Operation and Maintenance work for all AV Systems (Audio, Video and Network) for Arena & Convex.

Primary Responsibility Carry out assigned daily operational tasks, to ensure all AV and Network systems relevant to show performances and maintain high standard of Technical services in Arena & Convex are running smoothly at all times Perform regular maintenance work according to the Operation & Maintenance manual skillfully and carefully. To carry out troubleshooting and ad-hoc maintenance work in case of equipment breakdown Coordinate with appointed external contractor and/or vendors in carrying out the work to be done for the operation and maintenance of any AV and Network related equipment and/or system Maintain, create and update all necessary reports and SOP for the operation and maintenance work Ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the working bench, workshop areas and storage areas so that a safe and decent work place is maintained Participate on planning and arranging technical requirements in relation to any AV and Network system according to end user’s needs Record all necessary reports including incident and accident into the Logbook. Prepare to work additional or alternative duties as required. Ready to work at irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays and overnight.
  Requirements Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in AV related field Knowledge of methods and techniques of maintaining, installing and repairing AV equipment Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments Previous experience working in a similar AV and Network setting is desirable Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment Ready to work at irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays and overnight
