Job Description

• Works under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.  
Extensive experience in modeling in Civil 3D:
Pressure networks (e.g., water supply, pressurized sewer).
Gravity networks (e.g., stormwater, sanitary sewer systems).
Technical Expertise in Civil 3D :
Creation of pressure and gravity networks, including detailed profiles, alignments, and layouts.
Expertise in Part Builder for creating and customizing components for pipes, structures, and appurtenances.
Knowledge of rules-based design workflows for ensuring compliance with project-specific and regional design standards.
Managing and configuring Civil 3D part catalogs, including the creation of custom parts.
Coordination Skill for Clash-Free modeling:.
Effective communication & collaboration.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in relevant industry, preferably in digital delivery for civil engineering projectsProven expertise in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and NavisworksProficiency in CDE Platforms (ProjectWise, BIM360/ACC etc.)Demonstrated experience in pressure and gravity network modeling using Civil 3DAdvanced knowledge of Civil 3D Part Builder for creating and customizing componentsFamiliarity with rules-based design workflows and regional design standardsExperience in managing and configuring Civil 3D part catalogsStrong skills in clash detection and coordination for clash-free modelingExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesKnowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) principles and practicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWillingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in digital delivery technologiesValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
