Position Statement

\n\n

The Technician cooperates with his/ her superior to ensure the normal operation of hotel equipment. This role is responsible for the general work order maintenance work assigned by his / her superior or assisting the Engineering department’s maintenance team in completing other maintenance work.

What will I be doing?  

\n\n

As the Technician, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\n\n\tStrictly adhere to team members rules and regulations, the Management and commands from superiors.\n\tFollows the rules and regulations on safe operation of the equipment.\n\tEnsure the normal operation of the hotel's daily power supply, water supply, gas supply, heating and cooling equipment.\n\tInspect the equipment operation records and shift handover records promptly and accurately.\n\tInspect and maintain the equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction.\n\tSave energy and control energy consumption.\n\tTo act on and follow-up with maintenance works for guest rooms, event space and public area including back of house.\n\tRegularly test run the generator as required to ensure power generation and transmission performs normally during power failure.\n\tInspect the hotel’s Fire alarm and protection system preventive maintenance works and take proper measures to stop any violation of the fire prevention works.\n\tTo maintain record on withdrawal of working tools upon usage.\n\tMonitor and track work requests timely completion.\n\tFlexible and able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.\n\tCarry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\tThe Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice.\n

\n\n\n\tFamiliar with the operation principle and fault judgment method of large data centre infrastructure (power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, network, etc.).\n\tWilling to be engaged in the monitoring post for day shift and night shift for a long period and have enough time to study.\n\tStrong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism and learning ability.\n\tActive and motivated in work, with a good sense of service.\n\tGood analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.\n\n\n
