JOB SUMMARY: The Bond Lab Technician is responsible for the bonding or debonding of sputtering targets and backing plates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Know and follow all appropriate procedures (bonding, cleaning, etc)Cleaning of targets and backing platesCleaning of bonded assembliesMaintains bonding and cleaning records and all necessary paperworkMaintains training documentsOperates hot plates, Ion plater and all hand tools usedCan perform complex metallic and epoxy bondsKnows how to read drawingsMaintains supplies needed for target finishing/Bond LabKnows all functions of target finishing and bond labCan perform SAP transactionsComply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulationsFollow all clean-up and housekeeping proceduresAble to work under supervisionEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of industrial training and three to twelve months related experience to become familiar with equipment and processes.

Pay Range:
$19.65 - $27.70Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
