This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers for Water/Wastewater pipeline and facility projects.

Responsibilities Work from detailed sketches or red-lines to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and/or OpenRoadsDevelop construction documents showing topographical contours, elevations, profiles, and cross-sections as well as develop draft design engineering drawingsDevelop construction documents showing underground utilities in plan and profile, paving, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control and typical small site layout (lift stations).Understand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names; line and character styles; drawings and file names for sheet layoutHandle AutoCAD transfersAnalyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervisionInform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when neededMaintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team membersFlexible in work assignments and team assignments Qualifications Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3DProficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads a plusDemonstrated willingness to learnAbility to work interdependently within a team environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationshipsMust be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or daily, as changes occur in project workloadMust be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime as requested or needed
