This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities Prepare and/or revise construction and planning documents as well as exhibits within company standards from redlines for a variety of projectsCoordinate and communicate with project team in engineering, production, design and management to meet overall project objectives and deadlinesUnderstand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names, line and character styles, drawings and window names, and file names for sheet layoutAnalyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervisionInform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when neededMaintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team membersFlexible in work assignments and team assignments Qualifications Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Design from a College or Technical school, or 3 years’ experience in a similar technician role using AutoCAD Civil 3DAt least 3 years' experience using AutoCAD in a similar role within civil design in water/wastewaterGood working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3DDetail oriented with a high level of accuracy for high-quality work productEffective communications skills, both oral and written skillsHighly motivated with the ability to work interdependently within a team environmentMust be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or daily basis, as changes occur in project workloadMust be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime as requested or needed
