Position Specific Description
The Central Maintenance Department is looking for a Technician II to join their team. This position will be responsible for supporting CMC, Major Projects and Construction, Hardening, and SSUP in the Northwest Region. These responsibilities will include, but not limited to, processing contractor invoices, validating charges on invoices, as well as creating and/or maintaining vendor purchase orders.
Experience in WMS, Excel, Outage Assist, SAP, and E-Receiving are a plus.
This position can be located at the Pine Forest Admin or Milton Admin Office.
Job OverviewEmployees in this role are responsible for performing a full range of technical and operational tasks in support of the service center work flow and management. This position manages work request dependencies and tasks to ensure work flow progression and customer service required dates are met. Employees in this job ensure proper as-built and timely closing of work requests by reconciling and balancing material and labor and providing technical support for the service center.
Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision:
• Prepares job packages
• Manages work request dependencies and task (requirements)
• Manages and maintains 52 week calendar for resource availability
• As-built work request for proper closing (labor and material)
• Completes customer communication letters
• Updates various databases (NJUNS, vault inspection, etc.)
• Verifies invoices
• Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 2+ years
• Bachelor's Degree
