Technician II/III/IV, Formulation
Description

The Technician, Formulation will manufacture animal health vaccine medias/solutions following defined procedures and regulations for raw material management and media production.

Duties & Responsibilities

Technician II

Responsible for performing the activities associated with raw material management and the preparation of medias according to USDA regulations.Ensures compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.Assists with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills.Completes/Reviews in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation.Participates in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances.Demonstrates a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives.Assesses individual performance regarding the continuous improvement (AAI).Participates and provides support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management).

Technician III

Requirements

Technician II

High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred Biology Degree or related field, one (1) year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience.Basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to problem solve.

Technician III

High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred Biology Degree or related field, one (1) year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience.Basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to problem solve.

Technician IV

High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Biology Degree or related field from an accredited institution, two years or more (2+) of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experienceBasic math skillsEquipment/automation trouble shooting skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to problem solveDemonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailClean room and aseptic technique knowledgeBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing PrinciplesWorking knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing

Eligibility Requirements:
