Technician In Charge (TIC)Position Overview:Prioritizes safety standards and compliance across all operations. Manages daily technician scheduling and operations while ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation. Per monthHolidaysOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision insuranceCompany paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and prioritize the workload of the diesel technician team, assigning tasks and ensuring all work is completed in a timely mannerUtilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles and equipmentManage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance and repair activities while minimizing waste and excess inventoryPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standardsCoach and monitor members of the work teamOther duties as requiredQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systemsStrong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a teamAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracyMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as neededSubject to DOT drug testing and physical examination if applicable.
