Mix ink by following formulas, selecting calculations, using scales, adding and mixing ingredients, and labeling containers. Check color quality of newly made inks to approved color standard by testing on required substrate. Clean ink mixing tools and equipment by hand, removing all traces of ink. Store cleaned tools. Be able to work around chemicals (inks) and their unique odors. Inspect returned inks from production. Check label and return to appropriate storage location. Knowledge of basic computer operating. Dispose of garbage, spoiled or contaminated ink, and un-safe or unusable ink containers into the appropriate receptacles. Keep ink room in a neat and orderly fashion and assist in cleaning warehouse as necessary. Assist in other areas of production as needed. Other assignments or tasks as needed.
