Summary Provides clinical support by performing remote cardiac monitoring and while under the supervision of licensed personnel, coordinates non-clinical tasks including: maintaining the patient's chart, utilization of communication devices, ensuring accurate bed charging, performing patient call backs. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Performs clerical responsibilities + Maintains the patient chart + Performs remote cardiac monitoring in a manner that ensures accurate and complete examination by complying with established procedures and policies. + Recognizes and reports abnormal patient data to appropriate licensed personnel accurately and promptly according to unit procedure. + Demonstrates collaboration and communication skills. + Facilitates patient/bed flow by utilizing admission, transfer, teletracking and discharge activities according to procedure. + Participates in ongoing educational activities. + Completes assigned goals. Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience Preferred: Previous experience as remote monitoring technician or with interpreting cardiac rhythms preferred.
