YOUR ROLE

Join our Product Development Team at our headquarters in Düsseldorf to contribute to the development of innovative Consumer & Craftsmen Adhesives, specializing in Pipe and Contact Adhesives.

Develop new products and modify existing formulations of thermoplastic pipe adhesives and contact adhesives within our Adhesives Development Process projects Conduct comprehensive lab and application tests to evaluate product performance and document test results.
Compare existing products with competitors to identify areas for improvement and innovation Support product certification processes and audits to ensure compliance with regulations for products in contact with drinking water or regulated building products Collaborate with internal departments (Production, Quality and Marketing) and external organizations (Customers, Test Institutes, Certifiers and Suppliers) Scale-up lab formulations for serial production at various manufacturing sites Ensure adherence to SHEQ requirements and contribute to the sustainable transformation of our product portfolio YOUR SKILLS Completed vocational training as a Lab Technician, Technician, or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering (d/f/m) Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Product Development of Adhesives, with a strong focus on solvent-based and reactive (acrylate) adhesives Experience in product certification processes and craftsmen adhesive applications is preferred Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and project management skills Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a global and cross-functional team environment. Strong problem-solving ability is also beneficial Fluency in German and English
