Bally’s Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence, currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Bally’s Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, interactive gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.

With 10,600 employees, the Company’s casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800 hotel rooms. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completion of the announce merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (“Queen”), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally’s jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally’s portfolio. Bally’s will also become the successor of Queen’s significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role

As a Surveillance Technician, you will support the overall integrity of gaming as well as the protection of all guests, employees, and Company assets.

Responsibilities Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations Monitor the overall integrity of the video and access control network, server deployment, security, and connectivity throughout the LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure Assist in the design, deployment, and installation of video and access control infrastructure, fringe device upgrades, additions, and expansions Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of cameras, servers, desktop workstations, printers, routers, encoders, switches, archivers, storage arrays, and fringe devices such as cameras, access control hardware, cabling, and handheld radio units Advise and assist in the procurement of new hardware Roll out new software installs/patches Monitor the performance of the video and access control network Assist in a preventative maintenance program to mitigate technical equipment failure-related risks Manage static stock inventory of technical equipment and supplies Manage and maintain the facility radio system Assist with the surveillance systems user training program of surveillance supervisors and operators Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information, including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material Perform duties as surveillance operator as needed Protect the overall integrity of gaming at the casino Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board Must be a high school graduate or equivalent Must have above-average math skills Must have strong organizational and decision-making abilities Must have excellent customer and employee relations skills Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday What’s In It For You Competitive Salary with annual performance reviews Comprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision 401(K)/ Company Match Access Perks and Childcare discounts Target Salary Range: $25 - $30/hr Physical Demands Work Environment Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time Frequently required to define color Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high Frequently required to lift items up to 25 pounds Frequently required to reach overhead Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
