Technician - Sustaining Repair

As a Sustaining Repair Technician at MTC, you will be responsible for being certified on and running all print and repair processes. You will work with the Sustaining Engineering team for plate dispositions and building upon sustaining type skills.  You will work with the 1st shift print and repair engineering team, as well as the manufacturing and sustaining engineering team to define opportunities for improvement, investigate, and implement comprehensive long-term solutions.

Responsibilities:

Process plates through the print and repair workstations efficiently and with high quality.Maintain printability, repair, and any other required certificationsMonitor tool health and respond to trends and OOS tool and process conditionsCollaborate with the sustaining team to process and deliver reticles meeting customer specifications and on time delivery targets.Learn new skills such as understanding and manipulating KlearView, OneNote (daily report), ImageJ, CD Sem Job Creator, Header Extract.The ability to start repell plates, pull pells, bright light for any issues, and remove glue if neededDrive continuous improvement of the area including updating specs to lock in learning and strengthen long-term knowledge for our entire team – identifying gaps that negatively impact MTC’s goals and work with sustaining and first shift to eliminate themMentor and train manufacturing personnel and other specialists

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reticle fab with a role in repair and printability (Highly Preferred)Strong troubleshooting background and hands on working experience with reticle manufacturing toolsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility and desire to learn all aspects of printability and repair for reticle manufacturingAbility to manage multiple tasks, having strong organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detailThe willingness to support all reticle manufacturing processes from running tools to reviewing resultsAble to work independently and with minimal supervisionWilling to work any assigned shift and overtime when needed.

Education

Two-year industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience
