ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX is actively looking for an Techno Functional Analyst to Join the Mumbai Team (Goregaon East).
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled techno-functional analyst with 3-5 years of experience, a strong proficiency in SQL and/or Python, exploratory data analysis skills, and preferably a good understanding of data pipelines, architecture, methodology and processes related to capital markets data. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, and ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a global setting, create functional specification document and develop ETL mechanisms.
Responsibility:
Gain a thorough understanding of existing systems and business processes.
Develop tools and frameworks that facilitate large-scale automated data testing and exception reporting
Take ownership of developing certain logics and methodology in data pipeline
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and interpret system level requirements
Convert requirements into functional/technical specifications, data models etc.
Develop metrics and solutions to assess, monitor and improve data quality
Conduct data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Identify areas for process improvement based on data analysis and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency
Define and execute data testing strategy for each project and ensure optimal test coverage on all scenarios
Contribute to defining data architecture and processes, enhancing algorithms and making our data-related processes more efficient
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and provide end-to-end support for the same
Qualification:
Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering/Information Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics/Computer Applications.
Post-graduate program in Finance/Financial Accounting/Capital Markets or a CFA Level 1
4-5 years of experience with data wrangling and analytics using Python/R and SQL
Familiarity with firmographic or capital markets data provided by vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Factset, ICE and S&P
