MAJOR FUNCTION: Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient populations(s) served: Cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, GI, endocrine, renal, skeletal conditions and diseases including but not limited to: CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, Oncology, etc.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Produces MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed by a licensed physician or practitioner, according to established practices and procedures.
QUALIFICATION:
A. Education: Accredited program in Radiologic Technology and training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
B. Experience: Two (2) years as a staff MRI technologist preferred.
C. Certification/Licensure: New Jersey license and ARRT preferred, MRI certification within 6 months of hire, AHA BLS certified.
IV course completion or within 90 days of hire.
