Technologist Customer Service - MedTox
Labcorp is seeking a **Technologist Customer Service Support Representative** to join our MedTox team in **Burlington, NC** . In this position, the ideal candidate will provide technical support to the Sales Department and to clients concerning technical issues related to diagnostic devices and lab-based testing while working in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: _-Improving Health, Improving Lives-._ Technical Services is a team that relies upon close interdepartmental relationships to successfully accommodate the needs of our customers, often going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and thoroughness; therefore, engagement and creative feedback are fundamental within the department. **_**Hybrid schedule providing Monday-Friday, weekly rotations from on-site and remote based on department and/or business need. May require occasional on-site assistance during remote schedule weeks. Provide technical support to the Sales Department, as needed. + Answer telephones, multi-task input into a computerized database, maintain logs/records, research technical information, and train employees as needed. + Interact with Quality Engineering to problem solve and troubleshoot device performance issues. + Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions + Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies + Remain alert for notable trends with client calls and communicate promptly to the department manager. + Assist with customer returns processing and investigative testing services, as needed. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements required + Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required + 5 years of quality assurance or control experience preferred + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with laboratory information systems and databases are a plus + Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond + High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills + Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen + Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs + Experience working in complaint management is a plus + Experience working in customer or patient services is a plus + Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly **_If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!_** **Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:** As an EOE/AA employer, Labcorp strives for diversity and inclusion in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
