Special Procedures Technologist Position Summary 

Assists Radiologist in the performance of Diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures at level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designate area, procedures and students as assigned. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.

Special Procedures Technologist Position Requirements  

High School Graduate or equivalent required. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R). Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.

Special Procedures Technologist Schedule 

Day or Evening shift; Monday through Friday. Expected to rotate call availability for evenings, nights and weekends. Expected to work overtime in time of personnel shortages or emergencies. Expected to respond in the event of a disaster. May alternate working on Saturdays. Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.

Special Procedures Technologist Benefits 

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
