Job Description Technology Architect crafts and implements sound and cost effective solutions to address business demands in the Tribe. He will design and develop the solution using reusable assets, innovate and do feasibility as needed, and lead a cross-functional team to implement the solution.

A Technology Architect is responsible for crafting and implementing sound and cost effective solutions to address urgent business needs and demands in the Tribe where you will:

🛠 Design & Develop: Architect end-to-end solutions within and across multiple Core Tribes aligning with business objectives. This includes creation of high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD) from the architecture blueprint, use of reusable assets from Centers of Enablement (C4E), and co-design user-centric experience interfaces.

🤝 Collaborate: Work closely with product teams, engineers, and stakeholders to define architecture that maximizes functionality and performance.

💡 Innovate: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance and future-proof our solutions.

🔍 Evaluate: Conduct feasibility assessments, perform gap analyses, and identify the optimal tech stack needed for the business demand to guide strategic product roadmap decisions.

💙 Lead: Serve as the technical authority on projects and across the Core Tribes, guiding the development team through the defined architecture roadmap, principles, and standards.

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Expertise: Strong background in Cloud platforms--Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, RHOCP (RedHat OpenShift), etc--microservices architecture, DevOps, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect, in designing and implementing complex systems.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical, with the ability to take on abstract business challenges, and design practical and scalable solutions.

Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable in translating technical requirements into clear, concise business objectives.

Team Leadership: Experienced in guiding cross-functional teams to success in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Top Deliverables

Design and implement comprehensive solutions for the squad in the Core Tribe to address the business requirements

Contributes to the high-level design (HLD) from the architecture blueprint, and creates the low-level design (LLD) using of reusable assets from Centers of Enablement (C4E)

Serve as the technical authority on projects for the squad, guiding the development team through the defined architecture principles and standards.

Co-design with cross-functional teams encompassing PEDG to develop a user-centric experience (UI/UX) and a solution that effectively addresses user demands.

Collaborate with Technical PM, Cloud Engineers, Software Engineers, and Test Leads in the delivery of the solution.

Skills and Competencies

Ability to design complex, scalable, and high-performance system architectures tailored to meet business needs.

Strong analytical mindset to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend the most effective solution.

Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Strong background in programming languages (Java, Python, C#) and frameworks for building scalable, maintainable solutions

Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and RESTful services

Knowledge in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures

Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation tools) to optimize delivery pipelines.

Strong understanding of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including identity management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments

Expertise in designing cost-efficient solutions while maximizing performance, scalability, and reliability

Experienced in guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
