Role Purpose:
This is a key role created to support the Technology Practice in line with Chubb’s ambitious growth plans in our newly developed Commercial Insurance Division. You will support the Technology team in the National Underwriting Centre (NUC) in delivering a high-quality service to underwriters and brokers whilst developing technical and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the underwriting and processing of renewable Technology business in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan. Prepare and update Multinational Request Forms to allow quotations from our Globaln Servicing Team Support Underwriters in the booking of policy premiums Update internal systems with new property exposures To work in conjunction with the team ensure efficient working practices are in place and adhered to as per established package underwriting guidelines Support the underwriting team in the NUC through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers and internal stakeholders Develop your knowledge and understand of underwriting and the Technology appetite and product To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company Ideally introductory experience in the insurance market is required however candidates with a Customer Service background/ or graduate will be considered. You will need to demonstrate a practical and common-sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframes Interest in Multinational programs Minimum A level standard. Competent in Microsoft Office. Expected to undertake “on the job” training. This may involve working in other Chubb offices occasionally.
