Technology Audit Manager – Salary circa £80,000 (DOE)

A bit about the job:

You will be responsible for conducting specialised internal audits of technology, operations and data systems, processes and controls to ensure that they are secure, resilient, compliant with internal policies and external regulations and support Aviva’s strategic objectives.
 

You will develop and execute risk-based audit  scopes with meaningful reports that appropriately focuses and communicates on critical areas of efficiency, value and risk and provides recommendations for corrective action related to technology, data and operations control to its audience.


As part of the role, you will stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements, trends and developments in technology, data and cybersecurity regulations, laws and best practices related to internal auditing to enhance the quality and effectiveness of audit work, participate in various projects and initiatives. 

Collaborating with internal stakeholders is a crucial part of the role, to ensure that technology, data and operations risks are being managed effectively, provide guidance where appropriate, and support the development and education to various stakeholders.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Experience working in a Technology Audit role – external or internal is a must.Proven data analytics skill – experience working with query language or analytical tools e.g.: SQL, Qlik, Dataiku.Experience working in Financial Services and/or in a larger organisation is preferable.Relevant qualification e.g. CISA, CISSP is preferable, or being qualified by experience.Delivery focused mentality, with strong communication skills in a complex and multi-stakeholder business environment.
