Role Overview:

Join our São Paulo-based Buy-side Client and Managed Services team as a Technology Consultant. In this role, you will become a subject-matter expert on FactSet’s financial software solutions, working closely with various stakeholders—including client representatives, sales teams, and engineers. You will support our clients in the Asset & Wealth Management industry, focusing on driving operational efficiency and data integrity through our proprietary solutions. Your goal will be to streamline and optimize the use of our platforms, enhancing clients' research and analysis capabilities.

As part of our Client and Managed Services team, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between sophisticated financial software and investment professionals. Your work will help clients focus on strategic growth by solving complex technical issues and ensuring seamless integration and operation of our solutions. You will provide unparalleled service and deep insights into system intricacies, enhancing the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Implementations: Manage and oversee client software implementations across environments (both on-premise and AWS-hosted), including gathering initial requirements, configuring systems, integrating data, and providing training to meet client needs.Pre-Sales Activities: Participate in Specialty Sales through the preparation of POCs (Proof of Concepts) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal).Post-Implementation Support: Assist clients with business and technical queries, ensuring smooth operation and performance optimization of their systems.Managed Services: Act as a dedicated resource to help clients maximize the value received from our solutions, providing ongoing advice, guidance, and training.System Monitoring and Automation: Monitor client environments using advanced platforms to troubleshoot and ensure operational efficiency.Project Management: Handle project-based work such as change requests and software upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and user satisfaction.Technical Issue Resolution: Address complex technical issues related to a client’s full stack, including their technical architecture, software testing, and specific investigations.Collaboration: Work closely with global sales and consultant teams to provide daily operational support to our clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related industry discipline.At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience.Effective communication skills, particularly in client-facing scenarios.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Desired Skills:

Experience with SQL and various Database Management Systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., shell, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, VBA).Familiarity with application server setup (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly) and web technologies (e.g., Web Services, APIs, XML, JSON, HTML).Technical skills in financial reporting or business intelligence systems.Proficiency in using Excel, particularly data and chart manipulation through VBA and other functions.Knowledge of financial instruments and related software applications.Familiarity with Windows Servers and IIS, as well as SAML configuration/setup.Interest in capital markets, portfolio management, and financial instruments.
