You will become a technical subject matter expert on our B-One Enterpise Solution, part of FactSet’s Buyside Analytics products and solutions. You’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders—client representatives, internal account and operations teams, engineers - supporting our clients in the global Asset & Wealth Management Industry. By understanding both financial concepts and our platform’s technical specifics, you’ll enhance our client capabilities using B-One – a sophisticated financial software solution for Performance and Statistics Measurement, Attribution and GIPS ®. By ensuring seamless integration and platform scalability of our B-One solution, you’ll help clients enhance efficiency, data quality, and actionable insights, enabling them to focus on strategic growth.
You will act as a qualified dedicated resource helping our clients scale and maximize the value received from the solution while building a strong relationship with some of FactSet’s biggest clients. As part of the role, you’ll need to understand the business and technical context of our clients and provide advice, guidance, and training. The main goal of the service is to deliver high quality performance numbers, ensuring all steps of the calculation workflow – from source data in to end results - are flawlessly executed.
Responsibilities:
Managed Services: Deliver consistent and accurate performance calculations, monitoring all workflow steps from data input to final results.
Client relationship and support: Work closely with client stakeholders (e.g., Performance and Reporting teams) to address business requests and technical issues, ensuring high-quality performance results.
Technical Solutions: Design, implement, and support solutions involving ETL processes, data extraction, reporting and complex workflows with various dependencies.
Product Expertise: Gain comprehensive knowledge of FactSet B-One’s functionalities, with a focus on technical aspects such as:
System architecture
Application server setup
Database maintenance and optimization (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
Web services and APIs
Collaboration: Work with global consulting teams, clients, and internal product and engineering teams.
Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across the client’s full technology stack.
Required Skills:
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related industry discipline.
3+ years of professional experience in relevant field.
Strong communication skills in client-facing situations.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English, verbal and written.
Desired Skills:
SQL and Database experience.
Systems administration or programming experience.
Experience in Financial Reporting or Business Intelligence Systems.
Interest in capital markets, portfolio management, financial instruments.
