JR67595 Technology Development, Operation Management Engineer (Evergreen)As a Technology Development, Operation Management Engineer at Micron, you will engage in a unique opportunity to lead and manage TD operations across diverse and ambitious projects. This role is integral to planning and implementing TD builds, ensuring flawless execution that supports our technology roadmap and commitments.
Operations ManagementCoordinate business practices to achieve the highest level of efficiency within Technology Development (TD), encompassing Accelerated Technology Package Development Engineering (ATPDE) if necessary.Collaborate with internal customers and external collaborators to determine project priorities, set achievements, and ensure timely completion.Actively evaluate and address collaborators' dependencies and achievements, solve problems, and drive solutions to minimize issues.Ensure that the organization successfully converts inputs (e.g., materials, labor, and technology) into outputs (e.g., technode qualification, recipes) efficiently.Lead and coordinate all execution efforts in delivering engineering builds and TD operations per established standards and guidelines.Conduct effective meetings by setting objectives, involving the right people, and driving detailed business and technical discussions and alignment. Document meeting discussions, decisions, and future steps.Identify and lead improvement initiatives that enhance TD and cross-team efficiencies, optimizing the teams’ value and delivery.Foster robust working relationships with internal and external collaborators across multiple programs and projects.Engineering Build/Lot ManagementWork independently with internal and external teams to manage TD builds successfully.Streamline TD build schedules to meet program/project deadlines based on business priorities.Optimize material preparation according to project/requestor requirements, minimizing waste.Ensure timely delivery of materials and builds.Predict TD construction and material needs using historical data and input from collaborating teams and partners.Drive continuous improvement to achieve more with the same resources.Identify risks, issues, and roadblocks, and communicate them to teams/collaborators for immediate resolution.LeadershipLead and manage TD Ops Engineering Assistant (EA) on operational tactical execution.Coordinate one or multiple EA and provide reports of their activities and performance.Strategize and supervise EAs’ work and daily activities.Encourage and motivate team members toward achieving Micron’s goal.Demonstrate perseverance, strong opinions, and confidence in achieving a goal.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering.3+ years of experience in Semiconductor Backend Assembly Manufacturing or Operation Management.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional collaboration skills and thrives in a team environment.Excellent oral and written English communication skills.About Micron Technology, Inc.
