Salary: $147,000 - $186,000

Focus: The Technology Development Manager is responsible for driving innovation as you lead development activities of the Chlor Alkali Technology Development team.  The successful candidate will own the operation of the development and testing labs and Pilot Plant in Charleston and serve as the primary coordinator of all Chlor Alkali Development activities - working closely with key partners in Freeport, Russellville, and Charleston.


Technology Development Manager Essential Job Functions: Drive continuous innovation and advancement of key Chlor Alkali development strategies including non-asbestos diaphragm program, electrode coating, brine treatment studies, bleach advancements and others. Lead the Development Team in full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements. Manage and motivate team; provide feedback, evaluate performance, support team professional development and enable team to optimize their contribution to the department. Collaborate with manufacturing and commercial stakeholders as development efforts approach scale up and roll out to full scale facilities. 
Consult with operating units on current operational issues and assist with development of potential solutions. Technology Development Manager Minimum Requirements:   Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical engineering discipline preferred. Master's Degree* preferred. Minimum of 8 years of Manufacturing, R&D or Technology experience in Chlor Alkali industry. Prior leadership experience in a related role preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Travel required up to 25%; occasional international travel.
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred  Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
