JR62941 Technology Development Senior/Principal/Member of Technical Staff Engineer, Process Development

Micron’s Technology Development Advanced Process Development Team in Hiroshima is a World-Class group of engineers and technologists delivering Process and Equipment solutions for Micron’s DRAM and HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) Products. We are developing leading edge DRAM technology and seeking experienced talent in multiple process areas (CVD, Dry Etch, Wet Process, Metals, Diffusion and Photo). As a member of this team, you will be responsible for exploring and refining unit processes, collaborating with integration and device engineers, and working with equipment partners to achieve cost-effective DRAM and HBM.

This position requires advanced knowledge in your field, particularly in DRAM process. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with surface and material analysis methods are also important. Collaboration and strong communication skills are key to succeeding in this role.

Hands-on experience in the following technologies in a DRAM R&D or Manufacturing Fab is a strong plus:

High aspect ratio etching or deeply understanding plasma physics researcherContact metallization using Ni and TiFin and Gate etch technologyContact cleans and dummy gate removalAdvanced implant and annealEUV experienceWafer bonding experienceDetailed Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Understand device and integration requirementsDevelop process roadmap and vendor strategy for technical and cost targetsDevelop process recipes, collect structural, electrical data from short flow and full flow test chipsAdvise management on technology directionInnovate for higher performance and lower cost processWork with high integrity, tenacity with a people-centric approachMentor and coach new engineersMinimum Qualifications:MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Semiconductor Device Technology, or a related field5-year experience in the Semiconductor industryStrongly Preferred: industry experience in DRAM process or NAND process or wafer bonding.Communication skills, business level English required, Japanese preferred
