What You'll Do
+ + V2X is seeking a skilled, innovative, and energetic Technology Enablement manager to provide robust IT Support and optimize our user-facing technologies as we continue to expand operations across the globe and implement modern technology platforms. This role will oversee all aspects of delivering and supporting Digital Workplace technologies, services and experiences to V2X offices and remote workers across the globe. This leader will guide and maintain standards and logistics to ensure Employees and users have the right computers, peripherals, software, AV, and other IT services when they need them. The manager provides day-to-day supervision and leadership to on-site & remote support personnel, logisticians, and specialists ensuring they’re able to meet ITIL-based SLA’s and other KPI’s related to delivering IT and Digital services to the workforce.
+ The ideal candidate can ensure their team simplifies and unifies technologies for Users and provides exceptionally responsive Tier 2 support when issues arise. The ideal candidate has the technical chops to solve complex problems, as well as the leadership experience to build and manage the personnel, resources, and processes to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
+ Key Responsibilities:
+ Manages the day-to-day operations of workplace and end user equipment, and provides direct supervision of on-site, virtual and 3rd party support staff by monitoring ITIL-based metrics/performance, processes and applying technical expertise to aide in resolving issues and requests not resolved by Tier 1 support teams.
+ Effectively plans, operates, and supports the deployment and lifecycles of end-user hardware (computers and peripherals), printers and multi-function devices (leased and owned), AV equipment, and other equipment and services needed to support users wherever they are deployed to work.
+ Assumes a leading role planning, organizing, and executing cross-functional projects including facility moves/renovations, new offices, hardware/equipment refreshes, program phase-ins, etc.
+ Monitors and manages physical and logical assets to ensure appropriate utilization, operational performance, compliance objectives and other factors are met, and plans/executes lifecycle management processes accordingly. Identifies and actively manages technical debt.
+ Leads the Technology enablement team including hiring, training, coaching and evaluating team members. Provides work direction to technical staff and contract staff. Determines appropriate coverage for all hours of operation.
+ Leads the way in training technical and non-technical staff to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired, ensuring appropriate role-based knowledge and training is delivered.
+ Performs troubleshooting and coaches/advises team members when stuck, frustrated, or unable to resolve issues. Initiate and participates in problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations. Marshalls resources effectively to contribute to major incident management, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and lessons learned actins.
+ Participates in Change management functions, responsible for establishing and guidelines and methods for the testing, deployment and maintenance of host operating systems and updates, software patches, and other updates or changes to mitigate or neutralize impact to end users and workplace technology.
+ Monitors and manages supply chain and vendors, including forecasting costs and opportunities, sourcing and vendor selection, and contributing to the planning and execution of budgets.
+ Leverages technical and operational expertise to plan and execute Service Improvement efforts and ad-hoc engagements aimed at preventing issues, reducing or enhancing an SLA, or other measurable improvement.
+ Develops and enhances skills and competencies within the organization contributing to am agile growth-based culture and talent architecture. Provides direct training and growth plans, performance evaluations, and identifies challenging opportunities for their team to contribute to larger stakeholder initiatives.
+ Stays current with technological developments across a wide array of technology and recommends ways to take advantage of new and emerging trends (both technology and methodology).
+ Develops and contributes to new and existing technology and business road maps, proactively addressing strategic needs, anticipating risk, and taking responsibility to devise and execute plans accordingly.
+ Provides innovation and process improvement recommendations and oversees implementation, leaning on ability to organize and manage projects.
+ Interfaces with, and contributes to overall success of other IT teams, including Service Desk Operations, Platform Operations/Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, and International Operations
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
+ + Education: One year related experience may be substituted for each year of education, if degree is required.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
+ Certification/Licenses:
+ ITIL certification / training beneficial
+ Experience:
+ Five (5) to Ten (10) years' of experience operating enterprise infrastructure technologies.
+ Experience with Data center modernization and cloud migration
+ Experience as a manager or team leader
+ Deep experience managing Endpoint Management platforms, Asset Management and Asset Lifecycle (CMDB), AV technology (conference rooms, digital displays), and Printers/MFD’s.
+ Experience being accountable for Cybersecurity related functions including Vulnerability/Patch Management, Privilege Access Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and supporting Quality/Compliance audits.
+ Experience managing or leading hybrid and matrix teams across the globe.
+ Experience executing and maintaining a budget, participating in procurement lifecycle, and managing 3rd party suppliers (outsource providers, SaaS vendors, etc.)
+ Proficiency communicating and presenting technical information to non-technical staff including training, solution proposals/business cases, and project status updates.
+ Other Requirements:
+ Travel may be required 10-15% of the time
+ Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance
+ United States Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications:
+ + Certifications/Licenses:
+ + Microsoft, VMWare, or other industry certifications such as MCSE, MCITP, CCNP, Network+ and / or Security Certifications such as Security+ preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ + Team of 5-10 system administrators/engineers
Sills & Technology Used:
+ + Demonstrated expertise in three or more of the following technologies:
+ + Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V)
+ NetApp SAN Storage
+ Backup systems (CommVault, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery)
+ PowerShell Scripting
+ WAN optimization / acceleration
+ Network load balancers
+ Endpoint Management
+ Asset Management / CMDB
+ ITSM and IT Support
+ Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
+ Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

+ The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $105,000-200,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
