Job Description

The Technology Innovation and Integration Specialist is responsible for supporting the piloting, testing, and initial rollout of new and existing technology initiatives across the system’s restaurants. This support includes identifying opportunities for technology innovation within our restaurants, ensuring the initiatives are ready for execution, and prioritizing them according to the with the restaurant and business needs and proper timing (pacing and sequencing).  This role supports the Technology Innovation and Integration Manager and Director.   

Your Impact & Responsibilities

Understands the purpose, scope, objectives, and success metrics of projects and can measure the operational success and impact of the projectsLeads pilots and the initial rollout of projects to the restaurants, including all iterations of the pilots with restaurant visits and observationsTracks the success of pilots through feedback gathering and remains flexible to adjust pilots if neededPartners closely with other RSO departments and keeps the teams apprised of the status of projectsMaintains operational competency by staying close to the day-to-day life of the restaurant operators and their use of current and future technology; monitors the current versus desired execution of all initiatives and aspects of the operationChannels feedback to the working team to understand the success of the projects and aligns on any needs for directional changes QualificationsRequires 50% travel to Restaurants throughout the United States2-4 years’ experience in food service, project management, engineering/computer science roles  Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent experienceAbility to exercise judgment and decision making by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate pathDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to identify complex problems and develop solutions that can be effectively implementedPossess ability to be a self-starter, highly organized, with impeccable time management skillsProficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ITILAdditional Information
