This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking current college students to apply for our summer internship program located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
HII is seeking interns to take part in our growing workforce development program. We are looking for driven and goal-oriented individuals who are interested in breaking into the defense industry. Through this program, HII will offer you the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts within the technology and intelligence fields, assist in providing critical support to our military and government clients, and exposure to the world of private government contracting. Our experts will provide on-the-job training, and ensure interns complete our program with the confidence to accurately apply and perform the skills learned in this internship throughout their future careers. This internship not only provides interns the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional environment, but also allows them a look at what HII and the defense industry can offer.
The internship will take place for 8 weeks (02 JUN - 24 JUL) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Participants may be invited to remain in the internship program for a 90-day cycle, following an evaluation at the end of the term.
Essential Job Responsibilities
+ Learn multiple disciplines from industry professionals from across the program
+ Utilize technical and inter-personal skills and knowledge to support ongoing projects
+ Be an engaged and present member of the team
+ Play an active role in the HII workforce development pipeline
+ Participate in briefs, meetings, and educational courses
+ Fulfill tasks set by supervisors and mentors
+ Network with other interns and professionals within the defense and advanced educational fields
Minimum Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with more than 60% of the required credits completed
+ Must be located in Honolulu, Hawaii for the entire duration of the program
+ Maintain a professional, engaged and active-learning demeanor throughout enrollment
+ Moderate understanding of general job aspects with a novice understanding of the intricacies involved with the position desired
+ Clearance- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Requirements
+ College courses and/or certifications in Data Science, Information Technology (IT), Intelligence Studies, or Cyber Security
+ Research experience on topics relating to the Indo-Pacific
+ Desire to remain in Hawai'i following graduation
+ Desire to support the defense industry in technology or intelligence
Physical Requirements
Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
