Software Engineering Job Description
Currently, we are seeking experienced Technology Leads, with .NET experience, for the MetropolitanAtlanta, GA area.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Contributes to requirements gathering, creation of application architecture document and design artifacts; deliver high quality codes, activities related to implementation & transition; interface with internal team & key stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies and norms of Client Public Services.
Basic Qualifications:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience and understanding of .NET and MVC
•At least 5 years of experience in design, development, testing, deployment of applications using C#, .NET, IIS, SQL Server
•Recent experience in building web applications using .NET 4.5 and ASP.NET MVC 4, including at least working on two successful development & deployment projects.
•Recent experience in developing web user interfaces for .NET applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery Libraries.
•Experience in building and consuming web services (REST & SOAP), Web APIs.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills.
•Strong understanding of common software development practices.
•Good Analytical skills.
•5 years of experience Software Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance.
•Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
•Must be a US citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Current ADP II security clearance.
•DoD / Tricare experience.
•Understanding and usage of SQL Server, UDB DBs’.
•Experience working with XML and XML modeling.
•Understanding of WCF Service, MS Entity Framework, MS, Authentication and Authorization frameworks.
•Experience working within Insurance domains.
•Ability to work within a diverse, multiple stakeholder environment.
The job entails sitting, as well as working, at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
