Technology Lifecycle Management – Governance & Tech Prof 2

 Portfolio Management Prof 2 collaborates with enterprise IT teams to ensure TLM policy and governance aligns with technology execution, roadmaps, scorecards, and runways. Work assignments vary widely and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Importance is given to understanding big picture thinking to determine appropriate course of action as it pertains to TLM governance, execution, and visibility of dashboards, scorecards, roadmaps, etc.

Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) aligns with and delivers on our IT Strategy by driving agility and delivering greater business value through timely technology adoption with a focus on ability to stay current and assess status within the lifecycle of vendor supplied third party technology, including Cloud providers.

This role is focused on the technology lifecycle governance and policy adherence of remediation efforts towards the defined end-of-life date (EoL).  The right candidate will be able to manage ambiguity, perform as a self-starter, and require minimal supervision. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues involving variable factors and determining the best course of action, including when appropriate to escalate issues or barriers.

Key Responsibilities

Align with lifecycle program strategy to ensure adherence to technology adoptionProvides transparency of TLM work using a variety of dashboards, scorecards, and reports to provide clear visibility into metrics pertaining to asset end of life, vulnerabilities, aging hardware, and progress against tech initiativesMonitor status for inflight lifecycle initiatives to provide monthly progress and enterprise completion rates against the published OKRsDocument and coordinate statuses, issues and risks of technology lifecycle team efforts using Agile methods (when possible) to manage TLM work against necessary timelines and raise awareness when potential issues ariseFully understand the TLM planning and execution model and processes to participate in development of technology planning and impact analysis to publish accurate metricsRationalize asset data to define and plan technology initiatives with EoL impact and assists with the development of technology proposals aligning TLM roadmap and catalog rationalizationEmploy ServiceNow power user experience to support TLM metrics reported against the TLM policy and strategy, making it consumable and useful to stakeholdersOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or minimum of 2 years of related experience Strong program management skills employing strategic thinking skills across a big picture viewProficient in Excel, and other data analytics tools such as Power BIMotivated self-starter and ability to work in a team environment Ability to work well under pressure to meet compressed deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with technology lifecycle and asset portfolio managementExperience with ServiceNow modules (PPM, APM, SAM, HAM, TPM, TRM)Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processesDemonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$80,900 - $110,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
