Technology Manager – Development Operations Comerica is seeking a highly skilled and visionary DevOps Manager to lead the Digital Engineering organization in building and maintaining a robust, scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure. This leader will oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, automation, and system reliability while fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. This leader understands the standards as set by the central Platform modernization team. This leader will be required to manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers/developers, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This candidate will oversee cloud infrastructure management ensuring quicker time to market for environments, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization. The candidate will work closely with Domain and Principal Architects in Digital Engineering to enhance microapp architecture design patterns and keep the Digital Engineering DevOps team updated on upcoming changes. This role requires the eligible candidate to create centralized templates and reusable modules of IaC and pipeline code that enable quick builds and deployments of infrastructure and applications. The candidate will enable the Digital Engineering DevOps developers to embrace and incorporate enterprise architecture and Cloud Engineering security and governance models into all aspects of Digital Engineering infrastructure provisioning. The candidate will work with the organization monitoring team to create enhanced, centralized monitoring dashboards for Digital Engineering applications. The candidate will be required to manage the capacity and allocation of Digital Engineering DevOps developers across various CTB and RTB projects in Digital Engineering. Delivery Planning and Execution * Create, prioritize, plan, and execute portfolio/product roadmaps or initiatives through collaboration with Technology and appropriate business partners. * Reduce time to market by utilizing Agile methodologies and/or applying appropriate methodologies, e.g. dev/sec/ops. * Surface issues and risks; escalate for resolution. * Provides insights on risks based on broad experience. * Ensure employees deliver new technology solutions and capabilities in accordance with the roadmap and ensure that they meet established objectives and expectations of business partners and/or colleagues. Technology/Operational/Risk Control * Cultivate good system management disciplines including clearly defined and documented roles and responsibilities, documented phase processes and checkpoint and detailed planning for system deployment. * Define and report metrics based on overall business objectives. * Ensures compliance and control activities support technology and enterprise business objectives and are aligned with executive risk tolerances and expectations. * Ensures processes and controls within assigned area to enhance performance, security, reliability, and availability of systems. * Drive a continuous improvement and compliant culture through documented policies, procedures, and architecture.
