The Role

The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) Analyst is a full-time position, reporting directly to the OCTO Leader, responsible for analyzing OCTO rhythms and processes and implementing solutions that drive insights into action. The Analyst supports the OCTO Leader in annual planning including budgeting and reforecasting, short and long term strategic investment forecasts, providing a holistic view of the operational mechanics of the Technology organization and ad hoc special projects.

The Analyst will also support the OCTO by ensuring all communications and reports are accurate and  impactful. This operational role requires a strong ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and assist the Tech Leadership team in building cohesive teams and delivering results.

Responsibilities

Visualizes content included in all OCTO executive briefings in requisite MS Office application (Powerpoint, Excel)​

Creates various analytics on OCTO themes, trends, topics to measure and monitor progress or variations to target.​

Prepares the agendas, manages meeting content, attendance to all the Tech team meetings lead and owned by OCTO.​

Organizes and maintains Get to Know related activities, including the Heat Map, Skip Level and Culture Chat meets.​

Maintains Tech Assistant assignments to ensure coverage and parity across teams and leaders​

Leads and owns the Tech assistant weekly touchpoint to ensure all are “in the know” on key/relevant topics to their desks and Tech support​

Supports the OCTO executive role on task execution to all OCTO related initiatives/projects/activities​

Required Capabilities

Strong tech savviness and basic corporate IT literacy

Foundational skills in project management and event planning

Expert MS office skills, especially storytelling with PowerPoint and building Excel models with financial and operational data to establish insights

Strong ability to keep sensitive information confidential

Excellence in communication, collaboration, business presentations and meeting facilitation

Ability to work autonomously and to proactively solution to complete tasks

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS in business, technology, engineering, finance, or related field

Experience working in a technology organization, consulting, financial services, or equivalent business analyst role

2+ years’ administrative experience supporting corporate executives

Location

This hybrid role is based in the New York or LA office ~three days a week.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $86,000 - $106,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
