ResponsibilitiesThis internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience working at the intersection of technology and business operations. You will support various operational initiatives, helping to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance communication within the technology and business teams. This role is ideal for students interested in learning about business operations, project management, and the strategic alignment of technology solutions.
Potential Responsibilities Include:
Assist the team with day-to-day business operations tasks, such as tracking project progress, managing schedules, and supporting operational workflows to ensure smooth execution.Help analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations that highlight key performance metrics and progress toward operational goals.Assist in identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology business operations.Work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure alignment on operational goals and assist in communicating technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.Help prepare operational documents, project plans, and status updates to keep team members informed and ensure project deliverables are met on time.Provide support in managing and coordinating technology projects, assisting with timelines, task assignments, and tracking progress.Gain hands-on experience with business tools, project management software, and technology platforms used in daily business operations.RequirementsEducation:
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.Additional Preferences Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or a related field.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in using common business applications (e.g., Google Workspace) and basic project management tools.Analytical skills with an ability to interpret data, create reports, and present findings clearly.Basic understanding of technology systems or an interest in how technology solutions drive business operations is a plus.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello) is a plus.Familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools (e.g.,, Google Sheets, Tableau) is a bonus.Why Join Our TeamWhen you join Ascension, you join a team of over 134,000 individuals across the country committed to a Mission of serving others and providing compassionate, personalized care to all.
