Technology Platform Lead

About the role:

As a member of the Process Excellence team, you are designing and leading the technology’s platforms to create synergy between sites. These technology platforms result in significant improvements in driving Process manufacturing efficiency.
 

Key responsibilities:

Take the lead to set a standard way of working for each technology platform facilitator. Govern standards (creating and approvals) coming from the technology’s platforms. Steering CI Way of working. Coaching of community facilitators Lead and consolidate technology’s platform roadmaps. Responsible for global process policies (SOPa, process capability, …) with Process Excellence Managers for further deployment as standards in the sites. Tracks the progress of the technology’s platforms and reports to Process Excellence and Manufacturing. Guide the technology platform facilitators along the way in the realization of the community objectives and priorities. Secure the visibility of the technology platform successes and activities to the external stakeholders (site managers, stream leaders,...). Accountability to make global process standard didactic, and understandable for roll-out. Responsible to follow and report technology’s platforms KPIs. Supported by representative persons from Manufacturing, lead the validation and support of standardization and diamonds (break troughs) through the technology’s platforms. Support CI Way of working in process reliability and technical availability with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, CI, Digital, Asset)  as a problem-solving support for the network (i.e. troubleshooting, safe operations, environmental compliance, product quality etc.), to reduce cost, deliver reliability and efficiency on an ongoing basis. Provide advisory all along process innovation projects Validate learning material with cross-functional teams and interact with the Gemba school. Assist in the development of best practices, the definition of standards, and set up governance for technology platforms to support competence development through coaching and training. Build and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with regional and local support functions.
 

About you:

You have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioscience-engineering, Chemistry or Physics with a first professional experience (3-5 years) in food production. Experience in the food or process industry is preferred, manufacturing experience is a must.  Background as a process engineer controller is a plus. Lean manufacturing and 6-sigmas education is a plus. English – advanced (must have), knowledge of other languages is advantage as you need to communicate in an international context. You have a broad interest in sharing experiences and setting standards. You have continuous improvement skills: method and mindset. You are able to scale a best practice into a standard as well as describe operational guidelines. You are easily able to switch between a 20,000-foot (regional/global level) strategic view and the smallest shop floor detail. Versed at turning strategy into actions delivering through others. You are a confident and assertive facilitator and presenter. Able to influence and motivate stakeholders from operator up to board level to adopt and understand the necessary beliefs, behaviors, and Gemba routines. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build good working relationships with stakeholders Coaching skill. Pragmatic and solution-oriented thinker. Resilient and internal drive to lead cultural change. High degree of integrity and humility. Gives and receives feedback openly to inspire continuous learning and improvement. A sense of fun, bringing energy to the day-to-day.
