State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Technology Portfolio Manager, Managing Director to uplift its portfolio governance while bringing connectivity and consistency of execution through dependency management, transparent reporting and improved overall accountability. The candidate should have experience in understanding of a technology organization in a regulated financial services organization, strong program management, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as governance and execution.

What you will be responsible for
Formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected programsOverseeing consistent and horizontal governance mechanisms across all initiativesEnsuring consistent governance and RAG status management across all programsManaging cross-dependencies and critical path itemsMeasuring program performance using OKRs, appropriate systems, tools and techniques to maximize ROIManaging dependencies across programs to ensure no surprises come up and outcomes across a variety of sources and jurisdictions can be achieved through the most effective mannerProviding clear and succinct reporting in alignment with our standards to our committees, regulators, and senior management Helping turn gap findings into effective remediation plansDriving a culture of risk excellence and risk management to minimize program risksConstructively and confidently challenging the status quo, critical tollgates, etc.Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and third parties/vendorsCreating and maintaining comprehensive program documentationDeveloping control deadlines, change management, resource management and budget oversightWhat we value

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business, or a related fieldGraduate degree preferredMinimum of 12-15+ years of related experience within the financial services industry including time spent as part of a leadership teamDemonstrated experience managing complex transformation / remediation programs.Relevant regulated financial service expertise, with an understanding of challenges of running a large-scale technology transformation programAre you the right candidate?
