The Technical Product Manager will support the development of digital products for CRG, Thermo Fisher’s CRO business. You will apply your expertise to define the product backlog and deliver valuable features. Your role is crucial in aligning technical capabilities with business goals and customer needs. You will work closely with the Business Product Management team to translate product vision into feasible requirements using Agile processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Backlog Management: Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects customer needs and business priorities.

Provide thought leadership to the business product manager on trade-offs between scope, quality, and time.

User Stories: Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Collaboration: Serve as the main contact between collaborators and the development team, to collect requirements, understand their needs, and manage expectations.

Engage with the development team to ensure they understand the product backlog and priorities.

Conduct regular backlog grooming/refinement sessions.

Supervise and provide updates on product progress and performance using important measurements.

Facilitate the delivery of high-quality products and proactive engagement with Engineering leaders, System architects, and agile teams to derive business requirements.

Skills:

Excellent communication and facilitation skills; very organized; consultative, customer-first approach.

Adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, etc.). Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications a plus (POPM).

Familiarity with UX/UI principles and practices.

Proficient in applying the SDLC and QMS processes for the creation of GxP compliant software products.

Working knowledge of the Contract Research Organization (CRO) business.

Qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 7 years of experience in a product owner or product manager role in a digital or technology-focused team within a non-technology focused environment.
