Role Overview
Regulators globally have an increasing expectation that firms have adequate systems and controls in place to mitigate against Record Keeping & Market Abuse Risk such as Insider Dealing, Market Manipulation and Dissemination.
Communication Surveillance and Mobile Capture capabilities are at the forefront of internal and external regulatory enquiries. We are looking for a Product Owner to support TP ICAP’s Communication Surveillance Tech Programme.
Role Responsibilities
Manage and deliver on Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, and Key Performance Indicators for Products owned by Communication Surveillance Tech, such as, but not limited to Telemessage and Global Relay. This includes, but is not limited to:Defining and delivering against the Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Key Performance Indicators for each service, ensuring it aligns to stakeholder and business goals.Collaborating and influencing stakeholders to ensure that the right deliverables are correctly prioritised and scope clearly defined.Responsible for effective backlog management including user story definition, capacity management, and maintaining a clear prioritisation criterion.Embedding Agile methodologies within the delivery team.Act as the voice of the end users and stakeholders.Designing Communication Surveillance controls owned by Compliance Technology.Oversight of routine testing on all recorded communication platforms to ensure platforms are recording as intended.Ensure the Business Communication channels are appropriately governed and monitored.Monitor and track issues, risks and dependencies and ensure the Team is kept appraised of the status of the assigned projects and activities.Liaison between IT & Compliance on a day-to-day basis, supporting all daily queries and managing vendor support, and support for both upstream and downstream platforms.Experience / Competences
Essential
Proven leadership skills in a high-pressure dynamic environment.Passionate about delivery and being the best in class.Strong background in Data Management and Data Governance.Strong experience in delivering in an Agile manner, and Tech savvy.Excellent oral and written communication, and excellent people management skills.Proven problem solving, Cost/Benefit analysis, data analysis, and budget management skills.Subject Matter Expertise in Business Communications Technology e.g. Teams Chat, WhatsApp for Business, Bloomberg, ICE, BT Turrets, Cloud 9, Mobile Voice, etc.Solid understanding of Regulatory obligations and expectations in relation to Communication Record Keeping and Surveillance.Non-Essential
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning experience in a Compliance Technology context.Project Management experience in a regulated/financial context.This job description is subject to the terms and conditions of your Employment or Service Agreement and Handbook.
