We are seeking an Implementation Specialist who will coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering (Process, Quality etc.), 3rd Party Integrators, IT Application Product Driven Organizations (PDO), Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME), Site IT, Hardware Installers, and Network Planners to integrate, launch, and prove out plant floor applications to support key manufacturing build dates. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Machine Monitoring concepts, In Station Process Control disciplines, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) concepts. Practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning disciplines is a plus.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with vendors and internal application development and support teams to install, test, and debug assigned applications. You will become part of a dynamic team with a diverse set of experiences. You will be responsible for delivering IT capabilities to the factory floor in time for milestones driven by Ford’s manufacturing teams. Assignments will require travel to support launches in Powertrain and/or Vehicle Assembly plants throughout North America.
