Technology Project Manager

Sense is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Selly Oak, Birmingham on a Hybrid basis 2/3 days per week. This pivotal role will lead the delivery of new technology solutions, beginning with the implementation of our Digital Social Care Records system as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing organisational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Delivery: Manage projects from concept to delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business teams, technical staff, and suppliers to deliver seamless technology solutions. Supplier & Contract Management: Oversee procurement, supplier selection, and project delivery through external partners. Change Management: Drive user adoption, training, and communication to ensure smooth transitions to new solutions. Governance & Reporting: Maintain project reporting and governance, working closely with project boards and sponsors. Benefits Realisation: Ensure maximum organisational benefits from technology investments with robust measurement and monitoring. 

Essential Skills & Experience  

Project Delivery Expertise: Proven experience managing technology projects, including data and system integration. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, Software-as-a-Service solutions, and integration projects. Charity/Social Care Experience: Experience with Digital Social Care Records systems or Dynamics CRM is a plus. Problem-Solver: Analytical and logical thinker who proactively identifies solutions and manages risks. Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in working with diverse teams of varying technical abilities. User-Centric Approach: Committed to creating inclusive and straightforward user experiences. Professional knowledge of Agile (any variant), PRINCE2, or equivalent project management tools and techniques. Competency in SFIA 8 standards: Project Management (PRMG) Level 5, Benefits Management (BENM) Level 5, Sourcing (SORC) Level 4.
