Technology Support Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technology Support Coordinator to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City UT This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the team. **_This is Temp to Hire position (90 day), with a potential for full time transition._** The Technology Support Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of technology support services within the organization. This role involves managing company phone systems, coordinating IT projects, and providing administrative support to the IT department. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams **Duties and Responsibilities:** · Manage all interactions with vendor payments, acting as a liaison between vendors and the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. · Handle purchase order creation and receipting. · Help with budget administration and tracking. · Oversee contract administration, including maintaining documentation, coordinating reviews, and collaborating with the legal team for compliance and approvals. · Administer and maintain all cell phone accounts, including setting up new lines of service, terminating lines, and addressing service issues. · Schedule IT meetings, book conference rooms, and manage related logistics. · Provide general administrative support to the IT department, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and managing office supplies. · Perform other duties as assigned by IT leadership to support departmental goals. **Phone Management:** + Oversee the management of company phone systems, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Assist employees with mobile device setup and usage, ensuring optimal functionality and security. + Coordinate contracts and service agreements with phone service providers. **Project Coordination:** + Assist in planning and executing IT projects, ensuring they align with company goals and timelines. + Collaborate with team members to track project progress and report updates to stakeholders. + Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes for project discussions. + Scheduling and Administrative Support: + Schedule and manage IT department meetings and training sessions. + Maintain documentation related to IT processes, policies, and procedures. + Support the IT Manager in preparing reports and presentations for management. **Customer Support:** + Act as a first point of contact for IT support requests, addressing issues promptly or escalating as necessary. + Provide training and support to employees on various technology tools and software. + Foster a positive relationship with users to understand their needs and improve service delivery. **Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). + Previous experience in a technology support or administrative role. + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with IT support tools. + Knowledge of mobile device management and telecommunications is a plus. **Skills:** + Problem-solving and analytical thinking. + Attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. + Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude. + This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the role but may not include every duty or skill needed to succeed.
