Technology Support II, Commercial & Corporate Banking Market Technology

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your Technology Support career to the next level. 

As a Technology Support Associate within the Commercial & Corporate Banking, Markets Technology team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be instrumental in maintaining the stability of our critical business applications and associated infrastructure. You will act as the main point of contact for business users for all queries related to technical and business solutions. Your role will also encompass participation in various application-related projects and involvement with regulatory and compliance-related controls delivery. Stationed in the Philippines, you will be a key member of the Philippines Corporate and Investment Banking Market Technology team.

Job responsibilities

Provide regular reports on overall application status and planned changes to stakeholders.Report and follow-up incidents and root cause analysis impact to local business and escalate for regulatory reporting.Work collaboratively in Southeast Asia Branches teams to support local business demands and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.Support local application infrastructure and services provided by regulator and/or 3rd parties providers, ensure the availability and performance as agreed SLA and maintain resiliency as per agreed RTO with business.Assesses risks and controls including server hygiene, vulnerability & security management and recognizing gaps in processes and escalating actions plan.Act as the primary liaison between technology, businesses, vendors, and regulators Liaise with local vendors, service providers and regulatory parties.Lead and driving the identification and implementation of automation opportunities across the application and infrastructure environment.Maintain strong partnership with different business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirement, working out project scope/plan and prioritizing time and resource.Supports location specific resiliency, audit and compliance activities from local CIB Tech perspective.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant majorsMinimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial servicesGood communication skill in English and strong proficiency in Local Language is essential to liaise with the local vendors and regulators.Tactical thinking and strong analytical skills with high and fast learning capability.Familiar with Incident, Problem & Change Management processes and toolsExcellent interpersonal skills, team player, with an ability to remain calm under pressure while prioritizing workloads to meet business expectations.Willing to participate in occasional maintenance and releases on weekends and ad-hoc support after office hour.Experience of using monitoring tools & scheduling tools for production support and some level  knowledge of network infrastructure 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience on Equities Trading & Back Office system support is preferableKnowledge of major operating systems Windows/Unix/Linux, primary relational databases MS SQL/MYSQL and popular scripting languages Python/VB/Javascript coding skills are preferred.Knowledge of Cloud technology, cloud adoption/migration, and popular cloud services such as AWS is an advantage.
