Job Overview:
The Telecom Technician is responsible for providing frontline support for all mobility needs with an in-office schedule of 5 days per week. You will manage, prioritize, and resolve all end-user support requests logged through the designated tracking system, email, phone, or any other viable request means related to Cellular phones & tablets, RingCentral VOIP phones, and connectivity issues. This is a customer service and support role.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage, prioritize, and resolve all incoming IT Telecom service requests assigned to them. As needed, direct requests to other IT functions in accordance with established guidelines. Document all service requests and problem resolutions in the support tracking software. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues regarding hardware/software functionality, reliability, and performance for Telecom devices. Provision end-user Cellular devices, RingCentral phones, appropriate security access, approved software, and necessary cloud-based services per established procedures. Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets through our asset management system. Support all Telecom equipment per established procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude is required for success at this position. Strong communication and social skills and able to receive constructive criticism well. 1 year of experience supporting Cellular/VOIP technologies is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Possess a skill set to successfully analyze complex business problems as well as propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction Microsoft Exchange experience Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request Strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on knowledge, skills, competencies.
