Our common and preferred stocks trade on the New York Stock Exchange. **Job Description** This position will assist in the design, development, installation, maintenance and administration of enterprise-wide Telecommunications. Leveraging knowledge of telecommunications systems to help support, install, monitor and maintain our telecommunications infrastructure. We expect this role to actively participate in design of voice and data communication systems, supervise installation of these systems, and provide maintenance and service to internal clients after installation. Define and document user requirements, design/recommend network solutions, and coordinate their implementation. And, the incumbent will perform activities to complete service requests and resolve problems as directed, including hardware and software installations and user support requests. Core responsibilities duties include: + Our technicians work in a complex environment supporting a variety of service including Contact Center, Call Flows, IVR’s, Field and Corporate office phone systems, Fire Alarms and Elevator voice services + Plans and supports the infrastructure used for all types of telecommunications in operations for contact center, office service, and property/field service [(including the layer 1 fiber and copper data network cabling infrastructure, operational voice (both wired and wireless systems)], elevator, alarm systems, IOT devices and/or other applications involved in real-time communications + Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document test results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling + Perform and support continuity checks, locate and correct wiring errors using measuring instruments + Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions + Perform complex technical assignments involving communications systems, instrumentation and data acquisition/processing systems + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test data + Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, hardware repairs, and system backups to ensure that telecommunications systems operate reliably and efficiently + Identify and resolve technical issues with telecommunications systems and equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly. + Create and maintain documentation related to telecommunications systems and equipment including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides + Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure that telecommunications systems meet business requirements and align with overall IT strategy **Qualifications** + 2+ years’ experience of specialized training in electronic technology or closely related field or one year installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling (RF, Ethernet), network and telephony installation, and BPX/ audio/video systems + Proven experience working as telecommunications technician; Functional and Technical skills + Sound foundation of knowledge of telecommunications systems + The ability to interpret technical manuals and schematic designs + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues + Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders + Customer-service focus; Exceptional communications and customer service skills + Adaptability and the ability to master new technologies quickly + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues + Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders + Physical effort includes standing, lifting and carrying moderately heavy materials or equipment up to 25 lbs. **Additional Information** **Workplace** + One of our values pillars is to work as OneTeam and we believe that there is no replacement for in-person collaboration but understand the value of some flexibility.
